Nigel

About Nigel

Sales Director at Bailey Estates

Nigel started Bailey Estates back in 2008 from a small office above a wine shop in Birkdale village. Within 6 months he had identified our existing premises and has now along with Emma his wife, Megan his daughter, and his has team established the 'premiere' estate agent within Birkdale and Southport.

Nigel is rarely in the office as he prefers to spend his time visiting clients and offering marketing appraisals, property valuations and preparing property details and photos for marketing. He is extremely hands-on and can also be seen popping marketing leaflets through local doors to encourage new clients to use the services of Bailey Estates.

Now on the right side of '50', Nigel's hobbies include early morning Gym sessions, walking in the lake district, alpine climbing and skiing in France, Italy and Austria, and sky diving in the UK and Portugal.

When the adrenaline wears off though, he is most happy with a Friday night pizza take away, surrounded by his family and pets.

Emma

About Emma

Lettings Director at Bailey Estates

Having rental properties of our own, the natural step for us was to open an estate agent and for me to manage the rental side of our business. I understand how stressful it can be for landlords and ladies, so managing properties is a natural progression for me.

Through hard work we have slowly built up our lettings and have many property owners who have stayed with us since we started many years ago. Having completed the industry standard examinations and becoming a member of an affiliated body, gives our clients peace of mind. Every day is different and that's what makes coming to work exciting.

Life is busy for me as a mum of 3 so holidays are very important to me. I can't get away from it though as love to browse in overseas estate agent windows to see what properties are renting for.

We are a fun, friendly office and it's great looking forward to going to work every day. Its hard to stay healthy though, as we are constantly being given chocolates and cakes by happy landlords and tenants. It's lovely to be appreciated but certainly doesn't help the waistline.

Nikki

About Nikki

Sales Negotiator at Bailey Estates

Nikki joined the family business in April 2019. However, she is not new to the industry. Having worked as a Sales Negotiator for 6 years before taking a career break to look after her twin boys who are now 12, Nikki decided the time was right to get back into what she loves to do: "selling houses"!

With her passion and eagerness to succeed you can rest assured that Nikki will look after you from start to finish. Whether you are that vendor looking to sell, or that buyer looking to find their home you can always rest assured that Nikki will always go above and beyond any expectations you may have to ensure you have every one of your needs met and exceeded. The amount of prosecco, bubbly and chocolates Nikki receives (much to her delight!) is evidence of the success stories from happy vendors and buyers alike.

Nikki describes her job as a "Through the Keyhole" job, however her husband isn't so sure that he will come home one day to find a For Sale sign in their front garden!

About Bailey

Photographer

I am a passionate photographer hailing from New Zealand. With a keen eye for both real estate and landscape photography, I have honed my craft over the years. With two years of experience specializing in real estate photography, I have a knack for capturing properties in their best light. Furthermore, my journey into the world of photography began in my teenage years, where I discovered a love for capturing the beauty of landscapes. Combining technical skill with a creative vision, I am continuing to explore and excel in the art of photography. I have worked Bailey Estates for about a year and really enjoying photographing the lovely properties they sell. It's great working as part of the team.

About Nicola

Viewing Clerk at Bailey Estates

Following 42 years in the NHS and a busy professional career I looked forward to a well earned retirement. However I found it hard to slow down and realised I missed being part of a team.

I have been made to feel so welcome by the Bailey Estates team. They are all so genuinely enthusiastic about their individual roles and so supportive not only to each other but to their clients.

I now have a flexible work life balance which still allows me to travel, lunch and support a local charity which is close to my heart.

Things in life happen for a reason and when one door closes another opens and in this case I am finding myself opening lots of doors and juggling lots of keys!

Shirley

About Shirley

Viewing Clerk at Bailey Estates

Following a successful career in management and teaching, I joined Bailey Estates as a direct result of their sympathetic and sensitive approach to selling my late partners property. It was this caring and professional manner which prompted me to ask if they needed a viewing clerk and luckily for me, they said yes!

I enjoy my role very much as I get to meet great people and view beautiful properties. It's a fun and friendly environment with the telephones constantly ringing and there is a genuine buzz in the office To me, the fact that it is a family run business makes all the difference because everyone really cares about the whole customer experience.

Finally, I also realised that not all locks and doors are equal and that I can now add Professional Door Opener to my CV!
